Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I worked for months, working 12- hours sanding floors, and tearing down wallpaper with the baby on my back while the other babies were climbing into the playpen. Ha! The whole thing was beginning to come together but there was still a long way to go. To furnish the home, it was going to be an enormous undertaking in terms of budget and time. Also, I had go to my favorite stores. For my budget to remain intact, I went with my three boys in search for deals at estate sales. Each week we would spend between Thursday and Saturday in estate sales and garage sales, buying old and new furniture. After that, I repainted and smoothed the driveway during the workweek. My passion for furniture restoration began with a look like this. Even though the house had been decorated, I was unable to quit. I had a space in the market at my local location and sold pieces there. In the end, I had numerous pieces that I did not have a clue what to do with them and I outgrew my space. At home, I started hosting open houses where more than 1000 guests could visit and buy any item they wanted on the first floor in just one weekend. Growing Days was created in this home. While my company grew and so did our small family. I was balancing the demands of having to start a new business as well as a mother too. Growing Days seemed like the best match. In 2013, my daughter Nora became our fourth child. It was a great direction for my business, however, I needed an escape. I got away from the old furniture in order to spend more quality time with my kids. It was the right time. However after a few months without a phone, it began to call. They asked for my help in interior decoration and home renovations. These were mostly customers who came to my open house for furniture. I started taking on some clients at a time taking my time however it wasn't for long to have multiple accounts and was running a complete home renovation business. Most likely, I would have been laughing if someone had told me the company was to become the premise of an upcoming TV show that airs on the DIY Network. It's true that I amused when I think of it.
